by saphyress / October 11, 2011 10:20 AM PDT

My NV52 has had no problems recently but when I satarted it up today only the blue light in front and the mute button lit up. I can hear the fan running but thats it.
I took out battery, tried again with no luck
Tried resetting it as shown in these forums. No luck.
Now mute button is not lighting up just blue button in front and red power button in front

Let's look at other posts with this model.

It appears this old machine is now showing up in discussions. The only solutions so far is to replace the mainboard which most will find as much as a new laptop.

Only had it a little over two years, didn't expect to have it crash and burn this quick.
Tried many things, most I could get was battery light to go blue, power light to light up, but still only fan started, absolutely nothing else.
Off to get a Toshiba tonight!
