I use an external mouse. Cheap easy fix. Disable the internal pad.
I own a Gateway laptop model W323-Ul1. Since Monday, its touchpad has not worked properly. When I try to move the cursor, the pointer barely moves or bounces up and down as if it was attached to a rubber band. The computer is virtually inoperable becasue of this. Is there an easy fix for this, or does it need to be repaired? If it does need a repair, how much would it cost, or would it be a better idea to just get a new laptop all together? Thanks.
