I see the Intel GMA x3100 video solution.
Even with "Supports up to 384 MB shared video memory" this is no gaming laptop. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT TO PLAY 3D GAMES!

hi,i have had a c-140xl computer for about 5 months and started to look into gaming.
when i check my graphics card. my computer says that i have 128 MB of graphics ram. so i went to another forum and asked a question about it. they said that my computer has shared memory so it really has 256 Mb of memory. 128 dedicated and 128 shared. is there any truth to this. does it really work. can i choose how much ram goes to my graphics card.
thanks
here are my specs
gateway c-140XL
vista premium
intel core 2 duo CPU T5450
1.66 Ghz (2 CPU's)
2046 MB ram
ATI radeon HD 2300 graphics card
Also, what does 2 processors really mean. is it 2 1.66 processors?

It plays games just fine! Just make sure you crank it to high performance mode and keep it plugged in.
With the same lay out.
Halo 2 PC... if you want to see something crazy use the pen instead of the keyboard and mouse... the screen wigs out like crazy!
I can play Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 just fine.
