Gas going up again....

by Rolway / July 16, 2006 1:52 AM PDT

In just my town alone this weekend, 5 stations all within a mile of each other. $3.15, $3.19, $3.26 (full ser) . $2.97 & $2.99 (Self ser.)

One oil company is offering a lock in price of home oil for $2.79 gal. 500 gal. min. paid in full by Aug. 1st. Thats $1395.00 up front. I'd have to float a loan. Think I'll sweat it out. Passed up a lock in of $2.29. last year. Oil never went above it. Did'nt go below either.

If This keeps up, maybe I ought to think about going to Mexico. Might be some good deals down there with all them muchachos sneaking up here. They say its cheap living down there. Maid service and all.

If my lungs hold out and breathing improves a little more, I may go back to burning coal & wood. Still have some coal left from previous years and plenty of wood laying around over on the old farm down back.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
