Garmin Ique M5 or Palm TX

I have used a Sony Clie NR70 for years and loved it. But it finally bit the dust (side note: any hints on recovering all the data I had on it?)...anyway it's time to buy a new one and I've been reading up a little.

I'm impressed with the Palm TX and it would be relatively familiar, and possibly I could still use some of the software I had for the Clie. I don't need a camera or a keypad -- which I almost never used.

I also travel a lot, and have been using a Garmin GPS unit and I'm interested in maybe having a combined GPS/PDA. It would be nice to have them combined in one unit. So I'm also somewhat interested in the Garmin M5. But then again I've already got a GPS unit, and it's about double the price.

Any plusses and/or minuses that I should be aware of?

Went ahead and picked up a TX

I went ahead and found a TX for a good price and picked it up. I'll just keep my GPS and PDA separate for now. Thanks anyway!
