I looked at the age of the printer and since it is well beyond the expected life span of such a product, that it worked last week doesn't mean it should keep working.
Try it on other machines as a test.
The prior poster made a good point, incompatibility with OS. IF the drivers were available, maybe, if not, search for another printer. If it were win XP you would likely not have a problem, Vista on the other hand is quite likely the issue.
