I've had owners do what you noted and not replace the heatsink compound. They thought they could get by without.
The CPU temp too high message is the one to fix here. Get fresh compound, watch YouTubes on use then clean off the old, apply new, then reassemble. Be sure the fans are working like new.
Not too long ago I could easily run games like Fortnite on around 200 fps, but then the other day my computer was making weird sounds, and I hadn't cleaned my pc for like 3-4 years, so I cleaned entire pc, and took CPU Out and cleaned that too. I of course put it back in, and it worked.
Then it started saying " CPU Tempature Too High "
And so I decided to RESET my computer.
Anyways, then when it's done resetting the tempature isnt a problem anymore, but fortnite or any other game like minecraft is running really really slow and is laggy.
can anybody help me?? ![]()
