Question

Gaming PC Purchase

Jun 16, 2018 11:03PM PDT

Okay so I'm 100% buying a DIGITAL Storm vanquish 7 computer, I would just like to make sure I will be getting a smooth fast gameplay with these specs. The PC has an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6 core CPU, EVGA GTX 1050 Ti 4gb Graphics card, 8gb DDR4 2400Mhz memory, ASUS / MSI (AMD B350M Chipset) motherboard, 600W power supply, premium CPU cooler, and 2TB 7200RPM Storage. My main question is how much frames will I be able to get on a game like minecraft with these specs? I prefer at least a stable 150-300 FPS. I will also be adding a Shaders to the game, which usually drops frames quite a bit. 60 FPS minimum is okay for when shaders is active..

Minecraft is a cpu intense game.....you cpu is fine.

Limit your fps to the refresh rate of the monitor.
Anything above that is just a waste.

What speed is that ram and is it a dual channel setup?

I don't know what your putting in your post but the forum filters seem to be eating them.

I did get your personal email and the link does not tell me if that ram is 1x8GB or 2x4GB.

For that you would need to ask the builder.

Also the B350M comes in different flavors so it's back to the builder to ask what are they using.
It makes a difference because of the number of ram slots.

In general dual channel will give a 5-10% bump in fps.

Over all the machine looks fine.
The gtx 1050ti might be a little lacking in some games but if you want to bump that it's going to get expensive.

It's why I don't like pre-builts....you can't tell what your going to get until you get the machine and look......it's what the builder has on the shelf at the time.
