Well, it's supplied by the office which got it for 1099.99 on Amazon with 16GB, 1080p, dual SLI and hybrid drive. Very nice, well reviewed so I'll not write more except it's very nice.

With your savings you could extend the warranty.

I was in Canada years ago and Sager flamed out for us. We needed a small part and Sager didn't have the part or the FRU. After months of waiting we had to write it off. Maybe they got better.

I had 2 Sagers and they did me good.

In reply to: Sager NP8268-S

The first one was long ago with a P4 processor. It had a problem with the ATI graphics card that was on the mobo and the RMA was handled well. I did have to pay shipping there and they paid sending back. They called and asked if i wanted expedited shipping (which i would have had to pay difference). The second machine never had any problems. I didn't buy from xotic but i heard good things about them. Sager's are made by Clevo in Taiwan. They make a bass model and sell to boutique laptop companies like Eurocom, Prostar, Sager, AVADirect and Rock laptops (Big in England).

Clevo makes the chassis and the Sager and the other add memory and hard drives and apply their brand on the chassis.
