Gaming desktop suggestions with a budget around $1k

by Cyates87 / November 6, 2017 6:56 AM PST

When it comes to computers, the specs might as well be in a foreign language thus building a PC is not really an option for me. A little of what I am looking for is below, any help is greatly appreciated!

*I am mainly looking to purchase from BestBuy - I hate to handcuff myself like this but due to their financing options, it allows flexibility in my budget.

*My budget is around $1000 - I would like to come in below but also can spend a little more for a machine that blows away others in the price range - Ex. If a PC for $1100 provides a extremely better performance than one at $1000, I could spend the extra.

*I am looking for a gaming PC specifically for World of Warcraft - I would love to be able to run WoW on ultra with it performing well. This is the main reason I am going desktop over laptop.

*I am looking for something that is upgradable as well in the future, and the size of the PC doesn't matter.

*I will most likely be using a 1080p so 4k capabilities aren't necessary but wouldn't be a bad option either

*I know more about Intel than AMD so would probably like to stick with them....but I don't know too much so open to either.

Below are two PCs I came across and would like opinions on them if possible....are they good machines? are they good machines for the prices? Is there something you'd recommend over them? Thank you again for any help!

If I had to buy from bestbuy and my choice was one of those 2 machines I would pick the cyberpower.

Just because the case is bigger.

Personally I would not buy either one but I'm not stuck with bestbuy.

Coin toss to me. Bigger case might win.
