Gaming and Sony SXRD's

by DizzleCizzle / May 16, 2006 8:03 AM PDT

Hello...I have a KDS-R50XBR1, and I've gotten some awesome custom calibration settings from off of this forum for watching HDTV, and I was wondering if anyone had some good settings for playing video games. I usually play my PS2 more than watch HDTV. Currently, I just have it set on Vivid Mode.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy

Thanks...

put the setting the same as the HDTV input setting, put in a dark game like splinter cell and pause it, and adjust the brightness so the black areas are dark black, but not to dark to see gray or dark area detail.

Try using the setting you previously got for the pro mode. I believe I gave that to you but I can't really remember. See how it looks and get back to us. Also, under the DRC, you should switch it to the mode for games.
