My friend has XPSp2 Gateway on dialup..We have tried msn messenger and yahoo and any game disconnects constintly whenever we try and chat .My friend is on dialup it stays connected but, If we are playing games in pogo he cannot stay or get connected to the game every time we chat ?? So, they uninstalled all the IM's ? Is ther any software that might work better with their system ? Has any1 ever had similar problems ?

When I see this I usually run WINSOCKFIX (see google.com) and it cures it in about 1/2 the cases.

Try google and see if there is a version of winsockfix for vista or if people have tried it. Don't be the guinea pig.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
