I just wonder what one should look for in case one wants to buy a gamepad. I have gotten hooked by MVP 2004 by EA (just have the demo version) and realize that things may be easier with a gamepad. But what gamepad??? That is the question. I am FAAAAAAAAAAR from a big gamer, but this particular game I liked.
I am still very suspicious about the cordless stuff so that isn't an option at all. Forget about the price for now and just tell me what I should look for. I understand that price is important, but once I have the basics clear, I will try to find the best thing for the money.

I don't have that particular game, but for a gamepad I would recommend the Microsoft Sidewinder USB Gamepad:

I have the older version Microsoft "Sidewinder Game Pad Pro" and it is excellent. I also have the Sidewinder Precision 2 Joystick, also excellent.
