You must be getting some sort of error.
anyways, always try and re-install your game, if that doesnt work then your video card is -most- likely the culprit.
What video card do you have?
I received a gift of Tiger Woods Pro Tour 07. After I installed it from the disc I was able to play one practice round. I then started building my golfing image. When that was completed, the game stopped working. Whenever I start the game, it gets to the main menu screen and freezes. Only the cursor is responsive. I contacted EA and was told, after they checked out the "dxdiag" I sent them, that I needed to upgrade my graphics card. I then contacted eMachines (Gateway) and was told to get a Radeon 9550/X1050 series. I installed the card. However, there was no improvement. After, a number of e-mails and conversations with EA, ATI and eMachines, the following was determined:
1-The game is installed correctly with no bad files.
2-The graphics card is working properly, since I can run other games that are installed on my system.
3-I probably need to boost my RAM, so that the bigger games, (e.g. Tiger Woods) would run properly.
I am using an eMachine T3104 with 256MB RAM. (However, the "dxdiag" says it is only running 254MB). I am running Windows XP. The DirectX version on the system is 9.0. The TW game requirement is 256MB or more RAM. The Radeon requires 128MB. My question is:
"Will adding extra RAM solve my problem?" And if not are there any other suggestions as to what can help me.
