Game brightness...

by cbucolo / March 20, 2004 6:15 AM PST

well when i play some games they are very dark, virtually unplayable, i can sometimes set the gamma ingame which helps a little. but when i exit the game the desktop is very dark and it only corrects itself when i go into the ati control panel.

im using an ati radeon 9700 pro on an athlon 2800+ this only started happening recently, i dont think it is being caused by the drivers as they are up-to-date.

Have you tried adjusting the monitor brightness settings? Instead of using the graphics program, use the monitor control knobs/buttons to brighten the screen.

Hope this helps.
