Question

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 or iPad mini 2?

Nov 29, 2014 9:45PM PST

I'm looking for a good tablet for heavy books and PDF reading as long as I had a kindle fire hd and it wasn't enough fast loading my PDFs. I've already heard that Galaxy tab S is a bit laggy but I don't know if its better than the ipad mini 2...

Answer
Tablets are laggy compared to say a PC.

I see folk compare them all the time but since the PDF could be "heavy" or just text you have to do some benchmarking of your own. At current the office doesn't have the models in question.

I haven't tried loading PDFs in iPad mini but have been loading PDF with my tab S 8.4 and didn't have any problems. If there's one, it could be related to an Internet connection issue.

I've also read a lot of great reviews about Galaxy Tab S as the best for intense PDF reading. Kindle perhaps?
