Question

GALAXY Tab 4 won't charge

Hello, my replacement battery I bought for my galaxy Tab 4 won't charge and drains pretty quick.
When I plug my charger it says battery temp to low and can't charge. (I live in the tropics)
Downloaded the cpu-z app and it says
Health Good
Voltage 4053

Battery percentage was 54% before a factory reset and 85% after..

Defective battery or sensor?

Would appreciate any help!

Re: replacement battery

- An original Samsung battery or a third party one?
- If it won't charge, it can't drain either. Can you tell more?
- Is the behaviour the same if you use the old battery? Or better? Or worse?

Answer
54, 85 etc.

Sorry but due to how things work, battery % is not reliable when things are broken. What you don't know is if the tablet/phone has other issues. I usually find phones past 2 years are lost causes as you need to swap in the main board. Cheaper to replace the phone today.
