Question

Galaxy s7 vs moto g7 power

Dec 6, 2019 6:26PM PST

I have a galaxy s7 right now, but I was thinking of getting the moto g7 power. My question is which phone will last longer? Which will respond better to time? I won't abuse it and I don't play any tasking games, which phone is going to be better for 4 years at college? Thank you all for responses.

Tell more about last longer.

I find phones seem to be lasting 2 years now. ATT a few years ago found users were on average changing phones just under 2 years.

And students seem to be right there with the 2 year mark. So no phone I know would last 4 years. Count on replacing it at least once.

My advice is to wait as long as possible. Keep your s7 and wait for the 5G to roll out.

Another quick question

Thank you for the response, I'll probably end up doing that. Is the battery on the moto power that much better? 3000mah vs 5000, but I know the performance on the moto is slightly less so will that make the battery last significantly longer? I can't get a day out of my phone unless I avoid YouTube and use ultra low power saving mode, I am on it quite a bit

How would that be better?

It's odd to look at the mAH of a battery and call it better. Most would look at say a review and check out how many minutes of use or talk time you get. For students many carry a 20 buck battery to give the phone a boost if they don't get through the day.

My son picked up the Moto G7 Plus (International unlocked version).

He opens it on Christmas day.
