Galaxy S6

Apr 2, 2016 10:16AM PDT

I am extremely disappointed with my new Galaxy S6. It does not have auto-correct, unable to set up my pop email account, no place to put SD card and I could continue, but I'd sound like a raving lunatic. If I had prior knowledge, I would have pre-ordered the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Can you share why you bought it?

Many of those items were known when it came out. And auto correction may be an added app or plugin. You're not a lunatic. But you may have forgotten to make a list of what you want and stuck to it.

I am also not very happy with my Samsung Galaxy S6! I don't like the fact that it has apps that I don't use and can't get rid of (this is probably not just a Samsung cell issue I would guess). However these apps greatly aggravate me as they take up space. I have had to remove apps that I use and like because of these apps. I find Samsung pay extremely frustrating as I don't want but am stuck with. Another source of great aggravation as been trying to get my photos off of my cell and saved on my computer. I have a Mac and I didn't know when I got my cell that I had to ask if it would be compatible with my computer. Moving photos via USB does not work. Tried bluetooth (doesn't work) and airdroid is a royal pain. I have to do the photos one by one. Now I am running out of storage space. I am frustrated as can be trying to get the photos off my cell. Also, the Sprint tech store is nowhere near me. Any suggestions please would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Also, how many ways do you need to check your email and listen to music? When I called upset about the apps that I don't use, the guy on the other end said well, what do you do with your cell? I said make calls, text my teen and take and manipulate photos. I don't play games, read, make purchases, etc and yet I am stuck with these particular useless to me apps.

I've heard that on so many smart phones.

Too bad the other end didn't handle this well. There are apps pinned down that you can only remove by "rooting" but that's unsupported and unsupportable. But folk do this anyway to take control of the smart phone.
