Resolved Question

Galaxy S2 How do we achieve a shared calendar

May 18, 2012 10:09AM PDT

My partner & I both have Galaxy S2 phones.
We would like to permanently have the same calendar that will always update when either of us adds an event to the calendar. How can we achieve this please. Do we need to download something?
The assistants at the Vodafone shop couldn't help me.
PS I need very simple instructions please.

How to share calendar

Thanks for that. We set up gmail accounts & after much messing around I finally got our calendars to sync.
Now I just have to work out how to get birthday reminders in for us. They don't make it easy do they . . . I had all this set up on my sim card before but the details don't just transfer over to this phone.

Enter the Birthdays/events online not on the phones.

Try downloading the cozi app. It lets you keep one calendar with color coordinated task lists, grocery lists etc. And everyone in the family logs on with one password and from any device! As a business teacher and mom of 3 I highly recommend it...

You need to set it up through "Exchange Email" settings (Find the icon on your Gravity`s Menu). Do a search for "Google Mobile Sync" and they tell you how to do the setting. I did it with mine. But seems there is a glich with this phone software. It`s only a one way sync most of the time for me. From Google Calendar ---> to Phone Calendar. I can`t get the phone calendar to change the Google calendar yet... ?? Will let you know if I find a fix.
