How can it affect phones in the US when it hasn't been released here yet?
Samsung UK confirmed that there getting call about the problems with the Gingerbread roll out in the UK on the Galaxy S I9000.
But they have not said if they are going or willing to do any thing about it the Problems are Random Force Closing and restarting the phone taking ages to reboot.
Massive battery drain
Reporting this all they can offer were to send the phone in for repair i have done this and my local service center has also confirmed that the firmware has a fault.
To fix my phone they had to roll back the firmware to 2.2.1 phone is now stable again.
Its now effecting models in the US. This is the same problem that my sife had on her Nexus s and 2.3.4 fixed that and google new what the fault was.and they sorted it, i no this might sound bad but now its hitting the US Samsung might take not
