Question

Galaxy Note 3 Issues

Oct 2, 2013 12:52PM PDT

It's been acting up a lot since I bought it a few hours ago. Random things like apps weren't downloading from the play store and the pedometer says I've already walked 1400 steps when I've been sitting on my couch since I came home. Anyone else having these problems?

The main problem I really want help with though is the gesture to make the display smaller for one handed use. It's a feature in the settings but no matter what I do the phone won't acknowledge the gesture. Could anyone tell me how to get it working? Thanks!

Answer
Reset it

Since it's so new, you won't be losing much. After you perform a factory reset, if it still acts up it's time to visit your carrier for a replacement under warranty. And if necessary, I'd push them to replace instead of repair since it's a day old tomorrow.

So irritating

Yeah I think I might do that. I just wanted to see if anyone else was having these problems before I went through all of that trouble. I still feel like the one handed gesture is a me problem though lol. I've watched a video on youtube on how to do it but I still can't quite figure it out. Either way, I'm gonna go reset the phone now. Ugh.

So I just reset it and it's still not working.
