Galaxy active 2 watch

Jan 6, 2020 10:37AM PST

I'm very frustrated trying to make my watch display my heart rate constantly during exercise the screen keeps turning of or going to always on display (no HR there), I don't need to see anything else while exercising, only this trivial thing thx

Even Samsung writes:

"Do not move your body while taking heart rate measurements. Doing so may cause your heart rate to be recorded inaccurately."

It appears this is not a HR monitor for active use.

I don't have the link up at Samsung

But as I read that line and more it appears this model doesn't do what you ask and Samsung in that sentence tells us in a roundabout way why they don't offer it.

Yoy are mistaken when you start exercise the watch will start measuring your Heart rate constantly even if you were in manual mode before, so it is intended to that. It is only a display problem.

I knew I should have kept the link to Samsung.

If you feel this product does not meet expectations and Samsung does not give you a date for a fix, you should return it and try other devices. I hear Apple's monitor may be more to what you are asking.
