Galaxy ace 2

Hi, I wonder if anyone can answer this question for me, Ive searched the net but Im still not sure. I have a galaxy ace 2 mobile which I plan to take on holiday with me to the Dominican Republic, and I want to know,will it be usable there?

There are many sub models of that.

But generally it's OK if it's GSM, has a removable SIM so you can buy a rental/short time use local SIM in the phone. Such are usually sold in the airport.

Hey,thanks Bob.someone gave me the phone so I don't know exactly which model I have. I forgot to say I live in the UK which was the reason I wasn't sure, as I think we use different frequencies. Thanks

UK is pretty much all GSM.

So it's about 99% sure you can fit a rental sim at the next location.
