1. Try an external USB keyboard.
2. If it's in warranty call it in. If OOW (out of warranty) look at YouTubes on how to replace the keyboard. We want to try unplugging and plugging in the internal keyboard because sometimes that connection drops out.
I have a year old Dell G7 7588 laptop where random keys periodically stop working on it. My `, 5, 6, Esc, Ctrl, 8 on the numpad, and sometimes g, h. I have all of the latest drivers, I've uninstalled and reinstalled my diver, I've booted in to linux and had the same problem. I thought it was a hardware problem, so I brought it into a shop to repair it. All of the keys worked for them without finding a single problem. After returning from the repair shop, the problem arose again after I plugged in a draw tablet with an hdmi and 2 usb's. It also happened again after I plugged in a usb mouse. Is there anyway that a usb input could cause the keyboard to stop working? How can I check to see if my usb are messing with my keyboard without spending more money? Has this every happened before? The only program that I have installed that could mess with it is throttlestop, which I use to under volt. However, I turned it off and had the same problem.
