Do you really need an invite to sign up for a g-mail account?
Does someone have an extra G-Mail invite?? If you don't mind giving on to someone you don't know I would give many thanks
TIA

most likely is because many people are reluctant to respond to unknown e-mail addresses such as you posted. It's a good way to get on spammers and other objectionable lists
I can help you and would like to assist but caution tells me to be careful. Just wanted you to be aware of the problem. You can contact me through CNet e-mail link in my profile if you wish.
Good luck!
