Question

G-Hub “Downloading” Keyboard

Jan 15, 2020 7:34AM PST

My G512 keyboard is showing downloading under the icon for it in G-Hub, so I can’t click on it and customize the lighting. And in settings it shows not connected? Any ideas?

I have to call the product dead for this PC.

To see if it's just a defective one, test on another PC. If it fails on another PC you are pretty sure you can replace it. Not 100% sure but very high chances of nearly 100% with is as good as it gets.

Case closed?

No, the keyboard is more than a run of the mill keyboard so "it" is the keyboard and it's features. I contend that it does not work or you would not be asking for more.

Test as noted and then you may know where the issue is.

Answer
Is your keyboard....

....showing in the G-Hub tool? I use the Logitech G903 SE mouse and see it in my tool settings and can easily change those settings. You might try uninstalling the application, remove the keyboard from your computer, turn the computer off/on and try reinstalling it. Not sure what is causing your problem. Good luck.
