this "glitch" that would be so selective.

In the meantime, try renaming ONE of these files with the jpg extension they try to open it in your graphics application to see it it was simply renamed.

If such is the case all can be renamed with a simple command from the command line.

What had happened is I lost all my image files. When they were restored by an undelete program they were restored as FXA. I can still veiw the files but cannot copy or print. Getting an error message they are not win 32 type files

as I can't think of any undelete program/utility that does such renaming and somehow disables printing or copying (unless the undelete utility is a trial version that cripples certain capabilities).

I don't know why you are being secretive but if you won't provide DETAILS we can't provide much specific help.

Name some names such as WHAT "undelete program" you are speaking of and what application allows you to see the graphics but not copy or print them. We are working in the dark here!

I am not trying to be secrective I am giving you all the details I have
FXFOTO free version that shared the images in My Documents in another folder on my computer, I think it was Photoshop starter version 3.0. The pictures are still veiwable on FXFOTO but when I try to to pull them up I get a error message stating "This is not A win32 file" and then proceeds to show the file name with an FXA extension.

Your best bet will be to contact them direct because it is very proprietary software.
