fujitsu siemens intel core duo heats verry fast!

Dec 12, 2009 2:09AM PST

My laptop gets hot verry fast if I do more then one aplication on it, For example if I play a game and let in backround a virus scan my laptop will shutdown. I have been told to buy a cooling device to put under, but I don't know if they are any good because they also consume power from the computer and it will not help me when I am traveling. My questions is this: Can I upgrade somehow the internal coolers ?

the laptop is not older than year so I don't think the cleaning should be the biggest problem, and for travel all the coolers are big and not confortable to hold on your lap. and I know that if I pause the scan it will stop heating but I want to be able to use multi-tasks on it. thanks for the advice
