Fujitsu

I'd actually go with the Fujitsu. I've had a Lifebook S for about 2 years. It replaced a Sony which died after 18 months. The Sony, to my horror, died for no reason and was completely unfixable. 4 repair shops I went to, including the Sony store at the SF Metreon, agreed that it needed a new motherboard, total: $2k -- not worth it. Out of warranty, of course, so suddenly I had an expensive doorstop. The Fujitsu I replaced it with is a little slow, maybe because of the shared video memory thing, but it's got a good screen, better keyboard than the Sony, and it's completely reliable. I've been happy with it.
