Fuji S7000 Compact Fash CF type 2

Mar 5, 2005 6:43AM PST

Hi,
I wanted to get some more memory for this camera. Currently, I have 512 xD card and that is not enough at high resolution. I notice that this camera can also take CF type 2 and price is much lower than the xD. I?m considering buying a 4GB CF type2 memory, but I'm not sure the maximum capacity this camera can hold. Does anyone know the maximum capacity this camera can hold for the CF type 2 memory. Also, is there any downside for using CF type 2 verse xD?

Thanks

Flash Memory for Fuji S7000
Mar 5, 2005 9:02AM PST

The maximum capacity that a camera can handle is almost never included in the specifications.

But a Google search did find an answer:

http://www.gky.com.au/c/gky?a=da&did=19000000

According to this Australian site, the maximum is 2GB.
They explain why.
Scroll halfway down the page.

Further down the page they discuss Compact Flash vs xD.
