A current version of DirectX should install that file. Check for your version of DirectX by clicking on Start-Run, type dxdiag.exe, then click on OK. When the DirectX diagnostic page loads, you should be able to see the DirectX version you have installed.
If you are not currently at DirectX 8.1 or higher, and because you have Windows 98 and an unknown video card, please download DX 8.1 from the link below:
DirectX 8.1 Runtime for Windows 98 and Windows Me
There is a newer version but there are no guarantees that your current video card will support it. It's supported in Windows 98, but older cards sometimes have issues. Here's that link:
DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime
Hope this helps.

Hi, just bought a reconditioned Fuji Finepix S7000 digital camera. After installing the software I get a pop up error message saying: "The file FINEPIXVIEWER.EXE associated with DDRAW.DLL:DirectDrawCreateEx does not exist". I have tried reinstalling the software 5 times and get the same error message. Any ideas? Thanks, John Win98se IE6.1 256ram
