After logging in to the FTP site right click on the window and select the "Login As" option then uncheck the password.
Hey there.
I used to connect to a FTP site via internet explorer. The FTP site has multiple layers/folders, and I was frequently going one of the subfolders, not the root folder. I would go to the subfolder so frequently that I just figured to type the URL of the subfolder instead of the URL for the root folder. I also asked it to save my username and password.
However, now I have a problem. Now i DO want to access the root folder. However, whenever i type in ANY URL for the FTP site, it always signs me in automatically, and always takes me to the subfolder, not the root folder.
Can anyone help me un-save my password? I've deleted temp. internet files, cookies, history. I've cleared and deactivated AutoComplete in Internet Explorer. Any other hot ideas?
Thanks,
Nick
