FTP Server with ODBC Option

Hi ....
This is Henry. I am created FTP Client with The Change Password Facility. For to that I am Connection to Sql Server For Access Rights and Password alongwith The Ip Address and all options in FTP Server that will get all values from the Database.
I have created The Dtabase but i didn't get it that why FTP server load account information from Database.
Is there any need that the FTP Server and DB Server is on same PC.

Plz Help Me????
