Once installed, drivers are not usually something that are visible. The system should "find" them when the device that needs them is attached to the machine.
So, what happens when you connect the XM-PCR to your Mac?
This device is no longer supported by XM, they pulled it over piracy concerns

Hope it helps

I've been trying for two weeks to get a simple USB Serial driver from FTDI to install on my Mac Mini. I'm running OS X 10.4 Tiger and have attempted to install this driver at least 30 times (seriously). This driver will allow me to use my XM PCR radio on my Mac just as it would on my old PC. The two websites dedicated to using XM PCRs on Macs have been little or no help.
I download a fresh version of the driver, open up the .sit file with Stuffit Expander, install the driver (without any error messages), and then restart per the installation directions. However, when the computer finishes rebooting, the driver is no where to be found.
Has anyone encountered this type of problem with any other driver installation using 10.4 Tiger?? I'm at my whit's end here. Please help!!
