Maybe a generic keyboard will allow you to boot up normal, then you could download the proper drivers from the manufacturer's site for your hotkeys and reinstall the original keyboard. Windows should then say "Found New Hardware" and install the rproper drivers.
Here is the situation: I have multiple desktops (Windows2000Pro)networked to an HP NetServer. While restarting one desktop a message came up
''DRItek KeyBoard Remote Code Reciever''
''The APIKey has been lost or uninstall incompletely!
Please open Control Panel, click the ADD/Remove Programs icon and select uninstall program for full uninstallation.''
So, in a fit of stupidity I did. Only I went to Control Panel and removed the API Hotkeys. Now when Windows starts up it gets as far as ''Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to begin'' and the keyboard freezes(inoperative).
Can someone step me through how to correct this, please. Thanks in advance.
