Hi Stew, Wait untill next year, the LCoS sets will come down in price, I'm getting a good CRT rear projector to tide me over. In a couple of years the Toshiba FED sets will be out. With LCoS, plasma, DLP, LCD and FED competing the prices should realy come down.
I would like to see some one make a 3 chip LCoS front projector!!! John
I finally got all the bugs out of my home theater system (with the help of you fine folks) My problem is I own a Sony 65" 3 tube monster that still puts out a fair picture. But these new l.c.d. and d.l.p. sets are awsome OK my room will accept either a front projector or rear project t.v. 23" by 18" room low light. but I have to go larger than 65" anything smaller looks like a postage stamp. I seem to have the choice of a Sony 70" which I understand Sony dropped. but I can still order one, or go front project 96" I can get the Sony for about $6000 but for the same money can I buy a front projector that will give me the same picture quality also has anyone seen this 70" Sony Also I know some of you folks have a front project set up Is the picture as good a rear project t.v.
