From Word to Cnet?

May 15, 2005 3:37PM PDT

Hi All!

I would like to know how I prepare a post in Word 2003 and move it to CNET for posting.
Everytime I paste my Word document into the message body here at CNET, none of the changes I have made are included in the message body.
I have my "Edit with Microsoft Word" icon on my IE bar.ANd I have tried to use this feature. But when I click on "Submit" nothing happens.

If this problem has been addressed here before please link me to the solution(s)

BTW, Windows XP Home, Office 2003, 512 MB, 80 GB, 2.6 MHz.

Thanks

One font, bold, italic and that's about it. It's also not integrated into that submit button on Word but the Submit button on this web page.

Unless you are asking about some other forum or place and didn't supply that in your posting.

I can't get even bold and italics to tranfer from Word to Cnet's message box.
I know it can be done as I see bold and italics in other people's posts.

There are codes that you TYPE in-line with your text here in the Message Body. Look at the information in the FAQ - Using HTML codes.

Basically, you use letter codes placed inside of [square braces]. You also need to remember to turn the code off, which is usually the same code but preceded with a / ''slash''.

Read the FAQs.
