from tv to tablet

by mikedk64 / June 8, 2013 1:59 AM PDT

I believe that I have seen that I can get the picture from my TV down on my tablet and.

For example, if I am sitting and watching a movie on my TV so can I pull it down onmy tablet if I am going outside or something.

Is it something I can or do i just remember wrong?

That's usually a feature of your provider. So far you don't see a TV as a source of content but it gets that from the internet, cable or other device so when you see content on a TV and you want it on the tablet then you get that source to play on your tablet (which is not the TV today.)

Hi mikedk64,

You can do it the other way around sending what's on your tablet to your TV. It only works with certain Samsung TVs from this year and certain Samsung phones and tablets, using a Samsung technology branded Allshare Cast.

For laptops, you can also use WiDi, but your laptop will need to have WiDi built-in and an adapter for your TV.

Other than those two technologies, I know of no setup that Samsung supports for a live video connection between your TV and mobile device.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
