My great Sony Hi-8 machine's rec. heads need repair. Time to purchase something new, perhaps miniDV or HDD. I like the Sony machines but am happy to look at other manufacturers. I use a Mac w iMovie and iDVD. I want a camcorder that has FireWire. Budget is low, unfortunately: $500.
Ideas? I appreciate any. TIA
