Frequency out of range error on Philips S156 with windows 7

Oct 15, 2010 5:34PM PDT

I have installed windows 7, It is booting up and i could see only boot screen that three windows balls would come up. There after monitor says "attention frequency out of range Horizonal:53 hz and vertical 70hz" and displays nothing. System is booted as i could hear sounds and also working when booted with other monitor that was used while installing.
Please resolve the issue.

Install the inf-file that came with the monitor to tell Windows what signals it will accept. Then Windows won't send what it can't understand.

Something like that, yes.

But booting in Safe Mode with this monitor would work also, I think.
