Question

Freezing up.. Have to power off. Please help

Hi, Please
Help.. For about a week now I have
struggled with computer freezing, locking up.
Ctrl-Alt-delete does not help, I have to power off. Sometimes the little circle goes around and
the screen dims (gray) and other times it just locks. I have tried Alt-F4, Alt. tab, Defrag, clean
up files, Chk Dsk, system restore to couple days before (the most time it would
allow me to do).

I had updated Firefox
and Skype both. Since then I have
deleted, (uninstalled) and reinstalled.
The computer will work fine for a while then freeze up after about 10
minutes. I have also run in safe mode
with no issues.

DELL XPS M1330 I have Mc Afee, Vista,
service pak 2, 4.00 Ram, intel core TM 2 Duo CPU, T8300

Thanks so much.
