I turn on my computer (Lenovo Windows 7) and it goes slowly and eventually after about 15 minutes the screen freezes and I can't click anything. I usually reboot it but every time it freezes again after a while. Any ideas or suggestions?

Good day!
If your computer is still frozen or continues to freeze after rebooting, there may be defective hardware or a device driver that is not working correctly.
If you determine that a defective piece of hardware is causing the freezes, you should replace the hardware right away to prevent further damage to the computer.
You can also try accessing the computer BIOS and disabling any hardware that is not working properly, to see if that stops the freezes from occurring. However, you should still replace that hardware, as you may not be able to use your computer fully if the hardware remains disabled.
I hope this will help you.
Is there a way to check if there is defective hardware or device driver issues?
I slip in a new blank HDD and do "my" install of windows and "my" choice of drivers.
Another method I use is to boot up Linux from a Live DVD or USB (no install and no, I'm not a huge Linux fan or know it all about Linux.)
Between those two I usually get a better idea if it's hardware or not.
--> HOWEVER it's a crying shame that I run into machines that are dusty, filthy, clogged, with slow/bad fans and old heatsink compound over and over. Canned air is under 5 bucks a bottle, the heatsink compound is 2 bucks. The minimum shop counter fee here is 150USD and with plenty of YouTubes on how to use the 7 bucks of material I find it comforting to know the service counter will continue to be in the black for at least another 5 years.
--> SECOND. The symptom is consistent with heat, fan, heatsink compound issues. But you have folk that wish it wasn't. You have to let them work through that.
