Already ordered, Toni, will burn copy for archive as per usual habit,...

...but thanks for letting everyone else know. Here's hoping they do the same thing with WinXP Service Pack 2. I ordered a CD of SP1, but wasn't real fond of paying $10.50 for the privilege of updating via CD as opposed to a 30+ Mb download. Since SP2 looks to be even larger than SP1, it'd be nice if MS gave it away - but I somehow doubt it...

Additional note for us Brits
Feb 27, 2004 10:25AM PST

Do remember to tell them you're in the UK - this will call our own European data protection compliant website. The difference is we get all the "Please SPAM me to blazes" options cleared (opted out) by default, per our local laws. Unlike the yanks who will see their usual govt sell-out Spammers Charter page.

BTW the form cannot tell real from fake - so a string of zeroes does nicely for the phone number. No reason to offer up more than necessary - name and where to send it is all they need for mailing a CD... right? Happy

Thanks for the tips Dale - Your right about the telephone number - no point them using the one I stated :) NT
