Free-Up Sapce On My Hard Drive

by OneAmature / July 25, 2013 9:39 AM PDT

I have 1.95 of free space on my hard drive. I ran the disk cleaner, ran ccleaner, removed files & unnecessary/old programs, condensed files, removed photos, etc. and still cannot free-up any space. Also, not able to run the defrag as it tells me I do not have enough space. Help!

Maybe we can give you a suggestion. As far as deleting files are concern, only you know what to get rid of. But since this is as far as you can, then I would suggest an external drive. I have seen them going for about $40 for 500GB. I recently got 2TB for under $90.

Oldartq... Thanks! I have thought about an external hard drive, but was hoping I could figure out how to free-up some space on my own. However, this may be the only solution. Thanks again! Happy
