Might be possible.....

....but you would have to use a data based VPN service such as SKYPE. It would use a large amount of data so you need a large data plan. Not really "free" when you think about it.

Hi Lucas,

You cannot get anything for free in today's world. If you want to send free text messages and want free voice calls then you have to use internet(which is not free for sure). You have to activate data plan in your phone and then you can use apps like whatsapp, viber, skype, wechat etc. for text and voice chats.

I don't think so that there's any such app by now. Those apps by now need a minimal internet connectivity for performing tasks. Yeah, it's possible to have a beneficial data plan indeed.

I am very happy using ''Whatsapp'' for keeping in touch with my brother in Shanghai.
Text, pictures and voice-messages via data.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
