Free No More ... Windows Feedback Program Revised

by mwrisner / December 12, 2007 7:32 AM PST

I followed up on the story about Microsoft offering free software in return for participating in a "feedback program." As of mid-day today, Microsoft is no longer offering the free software ... but THEY ARE STILL WILLING TO INVADE YOUR PRIVACY!

So only half the offer was revoked.

If you signed up Wednesday morning, your privacy was worth about $350. If you signed up this Wednesday afternoon, your privacy ain't worth squat.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
