Hosting still exists

There are many out there like angelfire.com or blogspot.com.

It really depends on what you're looking for. If you only need blog hosting go with blogspot or wordpress.com. They are free and host themselves and there are no ads. But if you want more features or want to be able to post ads on your site (wordpress hosting doesn't allow your own ads)then you'll need to move to your own hosting which requires you have some experience with that stuff.

If you're hosting a site, you need to consider what you want (disk space vs bandwidth vs cron, etc). I've listed a few for you here, I've used a few:

http://www. x10hosting.com - requires you to post every 2 weeks or account gets suspended
http://www.p4o.net - no ads, several features (php) but low on space
000webhost.com - good features but uptime is very poor, often down or unusable
geocities.com - think they're dead now, but give it a try maybe it works

Those are just a few of course

I don't know why angelfire appeared under that last line, since I can't edit posts note that was one of the sites you can use - but it doesn't offer anything special, just html hosting and with lots of ads.

Why use free hosting?

Hi.

I don't understand why would you want a free hosting? Usualy free hosting servers are on low bandwidth with poor or no tech support and they go out every day - not to mention 160% CPU load...

I'm hosting my websites on slohost webserver and I'm paying poor 50EUR per site yearly basis - for so little money I wouldn't even try to find free hosting.

But ad any other that is only my opinion.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
