Free DVR programs?

Are there any free DVR programs?
I need something where I can set a time for it to automatically start and stop recording.

Personally I like GB-PVR, but it only works on Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and requires Microsoft's .NET framework to be installed. It may not be the most advanced, but it's the best free PVR program I've used. If you meet the requirements, I doubt you'll regret giving it a try. If you have any problems, you can always ask for help in their user forums, which are quite active.
