Fraps on vista problem

Mar 31, 2007 3:31AM PDT

I have just recently gotten the lastest version of Fraps on my new laptop that runs Windows Vista. (for those of you who are not familiar with fraps, it is a program that records what you are doing in your games so u can make a mix or whatever u want when your done.)

Problem: When I run fraps, after about 10 seconds my game crashes (World of warcraft) (this doesnt happen on my desktop with windows xp)

- Tried to run fraps on admin. mode
- Tried to run fraps on XP mode
..still doesn't work.

If you are wondering what the laptop is here are the basic specs
Dell XPS M1210
Duo Core T7200
1g Ram
80GB HD 7200 rpm

Please help. i would really like this to work. Thanks guys!

Solution!
May 16, 2008 6:37PM PDT

your configuration to your laptop is fine for normal things, the games required more memory and vista also uses lot of memory. may be because of that the virtual memory of your laptop is facing trouble.

the solution is: Increase your ram by 2 Gb.

Hope this would find you solution!

Good Luck!
